Hailing from Mount Larcom, Central Queensland, Mack’s upbringing on cattle stations and love for 90s country have shaped his distinctive, raw sound.
2024 has been a breakout year for Mack, winning the prestigious Ekka Country Music Showdown and Maleny Country Stars competition. He’s also shared the stage with country favourites like Dylan Wright, Sara Berki and Tyla Rodrigues.
Mack’s live performances are already gaining attention across Queensland, from bustling Brisbane venues to remote country towns. His packed performance calendar included a standout set at the inaugural Lasso Country Music Festival, a packed-in show at Nebo Hotel’s Street Party, and playing Countryfest alongside cousin Cade Geiger in June this year. After being asked by the man himself, Mack made an appearance at Troy Casser-Daley's headline show at TRECC, Tamworth, singing River Boy as a duet.
With new music set to be released in 2025, Mack is eager to expand his audience and introduce his unique take on Australian country music. His upcoming live shows will feature a full band, bringing even more energy and authenticity to his stage presence.
Mack Geiger is poised to become a lasting voice in Australian country music.
