Max Jackson

BIO

Australian country artist Max Jackson, from Coonamble, NSW, has rapidly risen in the country music scene, winning Australia's biggest country music competition and earning a Golden Guitar nomination. Her passion for country music began in Coonamble, fostered by her mother and the local music scene. Moving to Newcastle, she continued performing locally, participated in the CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music, and graduated from the Talent Development Project in Sydney.

Influenced by artists like Dolly Parton and Shania Twain, and contemporary names like Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert, Max honed her songwriting skills with trips to Nashville and Los Angeles. She has been mentored for 14 years by Gina Jeffreys and her music produced by Rod McCormack.

Max's debut album, "Life Of The Party," released in February 2020, was well-received, with praises for its craftsmanship and her vocal performance. Her career gained momentum in 2022, winning the 42nd Toyota Star Maker competition and being nominated for a New Talent award at the Golden Guitar Awards.

Following her Star Maker win, she toured the country, playing major festivals, and signed a management contract with Stephen White Management, joining artists like Lee Kernaghan and The Wolfe Brothers. She's been a special guest on The Wolfe Brothers' Livin' The Dream Tour and is preparing new music. With a major record deal imminent, Max is poised to be a leading figure in Australia's country music scene in 2024.
